Nancy Krupiarz is Executive Director of the Michigan Trails and Greenways Alliance (MTGA), a statewide nonprofit organization, which has been in existence for 9 years. Before that she was State Director of the Rails to Trails Conservancy Michigan Field Office for 9 years. Nancy regularly assists communities and citizen advocates with all aspects of trail acquisition, development, and maintenance. She also lobbies at the state level for policies which facilitate trail building and promotion of our statewide system. She is a Governor-appointed member of the Michigan Trails Advisory Council and chairs the Nonmotorized Workgroup of that Council. Nancy lives in Haslett, MI with her husband and beagle and has a grown son living in Kalamazoo.
