Maureen McDonald is a journalism graduate of Michigan State University who writes for a variety of local and national publications including ModeShift, the Detroit News, Crain's Detroit Business, Ward's Dealer Business, Automotive News and others. She has ghost written a book, Sirens of Chrome, the Enduring Allure of Auto Show Models and co-authored Royal Oak, a history book distributed by Arcadia Publishing. She has taught journalism at the University of Michigan Dearborn, Wayne State University and the University of Detroit. She loves riding her bicycle, shopping estate sales and flea markets and hiking a variety of places from the Bruce Trail in Ontario to the Grand Canyon. She lives in Southfield.
